Happy November! I hope everyone had a great Halloween last night. With temperatures getting colder I modify my beauty regimen to wear deeper fall tones and maintain hydrated skin in a dry climate. I buy a lot of my cosmetic beauty products at Nordstrom and they are giving double points now through November 3rd to all Nordstrom account members! Let’s talk fall beauty favorites!
2019 Fall Beauty Favorites
Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot – Y’all this is the most pigmented eye shadow I have ever used! The color is so vibrant but pearly at the same time. Use it alone or in conjunction with other shadows. My favorite way to use the champagne shade, Top Yacht, is to put it in the inner corner of my eyes as a highlighter. It opens up your eyes and makes them pop! The next color on my wishlist is Paradise Found.
Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray – When I need my makeup to stay all day, I love this product! With a microfine mist, it sprays on and keeps everything in place. When I am outside at this time of year, my allergies can cause me to rub my face a little bit more, so this helps me get through the day! To use it, I spray in an “X” and “T” pattern.
St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Water Face Mist – While this is a facial mist, I actually use it for my neck to reach those areas that can be tricking when applying tanning mousse or lotion. I love this so much, I purchased both the full size and a travel version. Spritz on daily for a natural glow!
Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment with SPF 15 – Even though the UV index is not as high in the fall, it still is important to keep lips protected from sun damage. Over time, UV radiation causes lips to lose volume and develop wrinkles. This is my year round daily lip balm. I love this brand particularly because it nourishes the lips with grapeseed oil and polyphenol antioxidants, with a little added tint. For fall, my go to color is sugar nude.
SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore – This is definitely a splurge, but with the dry air coming back this is going to plump and rehydrate your skin! Filled with vitamin E and lipids, this moisturizer makes your skin glow. Adding rich hydration back into your skin helps to decrease the appearance of fine lines and creases. My skin soaks this up at night! This is a great investment for your skin during these dry months!
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – This was inspired by the blurring filters used on social media. Apply it under your foundation for a beautiful glow! I started using this about 3 months ago and LOVE it! Some days I will even just use this over my tinted sunscreen for a little added tint but without the heaviness of full makeup. I am currently wearing the shade Medium. There is also a new Flawless Foundation that was inspired by this product.
MAC Lip Pencil – (beet or currant) I have used these lip pencils for the last couple of years and they have not failed me. I love the rich, fall tones of beet and currant. In times where I don’t feel like wearing lipstick, I will just color my lips with these pencils and add a coat of lip gloss or SPF lip balm. Oddly, these last a long time before having to sharpen them.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Primer Mascara – While I would love to have last extensions all the time, my busy schedule makes the upkeep difficult. Hopefully someday! In the meantime, I like this primer for adding length and volume to my lashes. Apply one or two coats before your mascara to achieve gorgeous, dramatic lashes! This also has a conditioning effect to keep those precious lashes healthy.
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray – From someone with fine hair, this is my go to volumizing spray! I apply it after my hair is fully styled and voila – instant texture and volume! It does run on the pricier side so if you have thick hair, it’s probably not going to be worth the investment. For those with thin, fine hair, like myself, I think you will love it!
