When is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
We can finally take a deep breath, because the date has been announced! The Summer 2019 Lilly Pulitzer sale is Monday, September 9, 2019 through September 11, 2019 online. In-store shopping will be available before the online sale from September 7-8, 2019 in Lilly Pulitzer stores.

Yes! There is so much to share, I did a full list of tips in this post here. Now that we are closing in on the event, I have some last minute recommendations to prepare.
Last minute Lilly Pulitzer APS Checklist:
- Know your size. See the sizing guide to know your Lilly Pulitzer size (and others you may be buying for) so you are not spending time searching during the sale. Items are not secured until your checkout process is completed and all sales are final.
- Create your Lilly Pulitzer account in advance. If you already have an account, I recommend making sure all details are accurate. Double check everything.
- Shop early. The online portion of the sale has a large selection of Lilly Pulitzer apparel and accessories but the popularity of the sale causes a lot of items to go very quickly. Be ready for the online sale to kick off at 7:00 am CST on Monday, September 9, 2019. If you are not available at that time, there will still be several items over the course of the sale however the selection will be more limited.

While I have no insider information on what will be included in the After Party Sale and am not affiliated with Lilly Pulitzer, I have a few predictions for items to be included in this season’s event!

Harper Shift Dress: Floridita
Gabby Stretch Shift Dress: High Tide Navy You’re The Zest
Astara Eyelet Top: Peach Flamingo (and likely the Astara Eyelet Dress)
Taryn Maxi Dress: Blue Haven Little Flamenco
UPF 50+ Sophiletta Dress: Iris Blue High Manetenance
Langston Top: Dream a Little Dream
Clary Polo Dress: True Navy (and possibly in pink)
Alessa Romper: Crab Claw Coral
Shawn Beaded Halter Top: True Navy
Kerstin Stretch Shift Dress: Blue Peri Lapis Lantern
The pictured Kerstin is a relatively newer dress, so this may not be included. A similar option (Lula Dress) will likely have a print included if you like this style.
Harper Shift Dress: Havana Pink Clawdia
Harp Cashmere Ruffle Wrap: Gold (a favorite for traveling and breastfeeding mamas!)
What items will be popular this year in the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
- Wraps – Ponchos and wraps are definitely in style again this year and Lilly has some great options! The cashmere wraps are usually priced around $79, Orella wraps around $34. Both options are perfect for travel during autumn and winter.
- Essie Dresses – These dresses are a big fan favorite due to their flattering fit. There are several requests for the dress to be available in additional prints and colors. In the past, pricing for these has varied between $39-49 making them one of the more affordable dress options.
- Skipper Popovers – With cooler months on the horizon these tops are great everyday options for sporting your favorite Lilly print! Fortunately, there will likely be a good selection of these during the sale to choose from. Expect a price around $49-69, depending on print. Extra bonus that this is made of UPF 50+ fabric!
- Ophelia Dresses – One of the top ranked Lilly Pulitzer dresses due to their soft fabric and stylish, swing shape! A show-stopper and collector’s item for the years to come. I estimate these will cost around $69-79 during the sale.
- Finn Tops – A classic, soft shirt option that can be worn as part of a cozy outfit, or choose a Finn top with gold lettering that can be dressed up with gold accessories. In a Lilly Pulitzer Facebook group I follow, this is one of the most anticipated items in the sale. These will likely cost around $34.
- Gifts with sale prices under $20 – iPhone cases, luggage tags, notebooks and especially key ID card cases are hot picks and will sell out quickly!

Which items are you most excited to buy in this year’s sale?
I am a big fan of the sophiletta dresses in fun prints and will be adding one to my sundress collection this year. As a Physician Assistant who embraces safe sun practices, the UPF 50+ popovers are an all around favorite for girls and women! If I had a daughter, I would definitely be buying her a UPF sundress for extra protection on sunny days. Also on my list is an item in the Zest for Life print collection, a maxi dress and luggage tags.
