When is the Winter 2020 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
Everyone’s current question, “When is the Winter 2020 Lilly Pulitzer APS?” Lilly Pulitzer always keeps the dates a secret! Let’s look back at the past winter sale dates:
2019: January 7 (in-store starting January 5)
2018: January 3
2017: January 5
2016: January 4
If this year’s sale follows the same trends, the Winter 2020 Lilly Pulitzer APS will likely be on January 6, 2020, with shopping in the Lilly stores starting on January 4.

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Tips & Policies
- All sales are final. Lilly Pulitzer stores do not accept online sale returns or exchanges. Item availability is not guaranteed until an order is placed and shipped.
- Create a Lilly Pulitzer account and verify accuracy. For the smoothest checkout experience, create an account beforehand. You’ll enter your name, email address, and shipping information. Save your credit card for a quick transaction. Be sure to enter a valid US shipping address that can accept packages for up to 4-6 weeks after the sale. Double check and verify your Lilly Pulitzer account information is correct.
- Know your size. Be sure to scope out the size chart to get a good idea on sizing. This size chart includes sizing for women, girls, men, etc… Most Lilly items have reviews that also give sizing info particular to that email – look under average customer review. All sales are final and items go quickly, so it is beneficial to know as much as you can about sizing in advance.
- Enter the sale online as soon as it starts. The Lilly Pulitzer sale is very popular, so expect several people wanting to get in on the deals! The sale usually begins online at 7am CST, so I will usually have a chrome and safari browser open and get on them both right at 7am. Why two browsers? I check out with my “must-haves” first, then on the other browser I can browse other sale items without having to get back at the start of the line again. Remember, items go quickly so you want to get access as soon as possible.
- When you are placed in a virtual waiting line, don’t refresh your browser. Your wait time and place in line will change; refreshing it may put you back at the start of the line.
- Free ground shipping. Items purchased during the After Party Sale will ship using the ground shipping method only. Due to high volume, orders may take up to 4 to 6 weeks to ship. In the past I have had orders take anywhere from a few days to almost the full 6 weeks.
- Items in your tote are not reserved. Just because an item is in your tote does not mean it is reserved. You must completely check-out and pay before the product is unavailable to other shoppers.

What are the popular items predicted for the 2020 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
These are just a few items predicted to be hot buys for the Winter APS. I will do an updated list as we near the sale! (Subscribe if you want this.)
- Finn Tops
These were predicted to be a hot item in 2019, and they definitely were popular items. Initially they were released on Monday at $39 and sold out. On Tuesday night, four additional styles of Finn tops were released but at $52. With the exception of the XXS size, these all sold out at the higher price point! If you love these comfortable, long sleeve shirts, my advice is stock up early if the price is right. - Ophelia Swing Dresses
With excellent reviews, these 3/4 sleeve dresses are one of Lilly Pulitzer’s top sellers. In the 2019 APS sales, many of the prints for this swing dress sold out. There have been a couple new Ophelia dresses released since then, however selection will be limited. - Emerald Isle on the Prowl Print
With the deep emerald green tone and the feisty jungle cats, this print has been a hot buy! Every item in this collection has great reviews, so expect the limited selection to go quickly. This dress will probably have the most sizes available in this print. The Lilly’s Paradise collection has been a big hit and the rich emerald green will be great for St. Patrick’s Day! - Franci Dress
So this was the item I predicted would be popular in the 2019 APS and it sold out super quickly!! Besides the fact this dress is adorable, it’s also a popular choice because it has the matching girls dress. And it’s SO cute! But, guess what? Lilly bought it back! Oh my gosh! And not only is it back for purchase, but they made it currently available in three colors: black, gold and a beautiful blue! If this dress is part of the sale, expect it to go quick!! - Asani Tunic Top
These silk-cotton blend shirts are in true Lilly style. What sets this apart is the Glow Up print on this tunic includes intricate elephant artwork on the lower half of the top. Love it! - Adalee Shift Dress
I’m not 100% certain this dress will be included, however if it is lookout! This has been a hot pick given the cute ruffles and its $188 pre-sale price, which is more affordable than the average Lilly Pulitzer shift dress. It’s currently available in pink and black.
2020 Lilly Pulitzer APS Price Estimates
While I don’t know everything that will be available and the exact APS prices (I do not work for Lilly Pulitzer), I do follow the trends closely. Pricing estimates are broken down by category.
Where to begin with Lilly dresses?! Love them so much! Always good buys in this category are the UPF 50+ Sophie dresses. They keep your skin healthy and have a few options for matching mother-daughter dresses! For my taller friends, I love the maxi dresses! In this category, I think the Malia will probably be a part of the sale. One unique favorite is the Jarrett Romper. I think the top-rated romper in High Manetenance could be a hit!
Given we are in the midst of winter during the sale, cardigans and sweaters are always a great buy! This is the time to buy cashmere sweaters and wraps. I love my Harp wraps for traveling, as they can be utilized as a wrap, unbuttoned into a shawl or small blanket on the plane.
The Elsa Silk Tops are always a popular buy. While we love Lilly’s prints, don’t overlook the solid colors! I hope to buy the Elsa in a solid color because it is so versatile. The white, for example, layers perfectly under sweaters and vests – plus solid colors sell for less than the prints.
Lilly Pulitzer’s skirts are always a fun option. I have the Faye Skort and love it! It layers well with a cami and cardigan. This year the Faye is predicted to be priced at $44-49, but I have bought it for as little as $29 in the past!
As a Physician Assistant, I am a huge supporter of Lilly Pulitzer’s UPF 50+ clothing line to keep UV rays away! Your average white t-shirt will only provide about 3-5 SPF, so it’s important to find activewear that covers all the areas that don’t get sunscreen. The UPF 50+ Skipper Popover is perfect for running errands or running on the trail. For indoor workouts, if these leggings are part of the sale (either in cabernet or last summer’s navy), they will go quickly! They are so pretty!
Gosh, the girl’s clothing is always so cute! I don’t have a daughter so I cannot vouch on much within this category but traditionally the mother-daughter matching outfits go quickly. This is a great time to go into the store to find out the correct sizes, or review the size guide.
One accessory I am really hoping will be a part of this season’s APS is the Georgette Embellished Cork Clutch! Have y’all seen it in person? It’s gorgeous! For the men, create some adorable matching outfits for portraits by simply adding a Lilly tie!
We all know Lilly offers so many cute swimwear options! This is a good time to stock up on spring break and summer swimsuits and cover ups.
