2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On

The 2023 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing and I have fallen in love with several of the pieces! Let’s dive into the 2023 Nordstrom Sale try-on haul with notes on sizing and quality. I tried on tons of pieces, and these are my top selections. Items sell out quickly during this sale – shop early and check back often for restocks!

Verona Pleated Sleeve Mini Dress

Quality: This was one of the first dresses that caught my eye in Nordstrom. Pleated hemlines are trendy and add a fun detail. I have this styled two ways – with knee high boots and with black sandals and a black purse. This would also be really stylish with an oversized ivory sweater layered on top!

Georgiey Knee High Boots
Sizing: Wearing size 7.5; shoe size fits true to size. Calf is a little narrow and features a taller boot shaft that will be most ideal for average height and taller ladies.
Quality: I fell in LOVE with these boots! They truly elevate any style and look great with solid dresses, plaid skirts and leggings!

Mini Shirtdress
Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size.
Quality: The fabric is satin and looks very similar to silk! A little sexy, chic and definitely flattering, this dress is bra friendly and comfortable to wear! If you shop Lilly Pulitzer, the fit on this dress reminds me of the Cristiana dress. This dress is a blank canvas and will go great with many of your favorite accessories!

Long Sleeve Midi Dress
Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size.
Quality: With a sale price just shy of $30 this wins for one of the most affordable finds! I shared two ways to style – with a cardigan and booties or white sneakers and a belt bag. The fabric has a nice stretch and it’s bump friendly! I am currently 3 months pregnant and there is plenty of space to grow.

Sizing: Wearing XS. Runs big, consider sizing down one.
Quality: Cozy and spacious, this ribbed oversized sweater is one I will be grabbing for again and again in this fall and winter! This comes available in a few color options and pairs perfectly with many of your favorite leggings and jeans.

Spanx Faux Suede Leggings
Sizing: Wearing XS. Runs a little small.
Quality: Confession time… I bought these long before they were going to be in the sale because I was obsessed with the faux suede style! The fabric has a little stretch and a high-waist designed to smooth everything out. I love the unique, stylish spin on leggings and these go great with many of your favorite sweaters! I think they’d look really cute with the Georgiey boots too!

Ruffle Cuff Crepe Top

Quality: The magenta glow color is stunning! It’s vibrant, the life of the party and versatile for wear all year round. This top features chic details like a subtle ruffle at the neck line and bell sleeve. Style this with faux leather leggings in the fall/winter and white denim in the spring/summer.

Control Top 7/8 Faux Leather Leggings
Sizing: Wearing small. Has a lot of stretch but runs a little small.
Quality: These are hands-down the most realistic faux leather leggings I have ever worn! With a glossy finish, leather feel, and compression to hold everything in place, you can’t help but feel dressed to impress!

Raw Edge Tank
Sizing: Wearing small. Runs slightly big.
Quality: The lightweight fabric and sheer hemline is an elegant touch to this top that can be worn alone or layered with blazers and cardigans. This looks beautiful with stacked gold chain necklaces!

Check One-Button Blazer
Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size/slightly big.
Quality: Hello gorgeous fall blazer! I love the colors in the plaid print which makes it so easy to mix and match with other blacks, browns and whites. Layer with dresses, camis or even a fun t-shirt! This print is offered in other coordinating pieces as well!

Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans
Sizing: Wearing size 4, regular length. Fits true to size. The regular length was a little long for me at 5’3″, so I am going to order petite. There is a similar option in long length as well. The waist-band has a little stretch which I love!
Quality: These jeans are amazing for the price and make your legs look a mile long! They have been a best seller for good reason. I bought this brand a few years ago and still love them! The frayed hem is trendy, and these also come available in a traditional hem.

Belted Mini Dress
Sizing: Wearing small. Sleeves run a little big, otherwise fits true to size.
Quality: I love a good sweater dress for fall and winter. This one stands out with the belted waist that cinches everything in! For extra style points, this would look really cute with white knee high boots!

Belted Long Sleeve Dress
Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size.
Quality: The Nordstrom stylist called this her “Kardashian Dress” because it’s sophisticated and stylish at the same time. I love the soft, stretchy fabric and waist-defining belt. Layer this with a blazer and boots for an elevated style!

Cashmere Sweater
Sizing: Wearing small. I loved the fit of this sweater! Runs true to size. The length goes about halfway down my booty and the fabric has a little stretch!
Quality: This sweater is so incredibly soft and comfortable! On sale for $79, this is a better price than most cashmere sweaters, without compromising quality. A sweater that you will want to put on time and time again!

At Your Leisure High Waist Leggings
Sizing: Wearing small. Runs true to size. The high waist is super flattering and has a nice amount of stretch!
Quality: These were one of the top items on my wishlist for the 2023 Nordstrom Sale Try-On Haul and they did not disappoint! With buttery soft fabric, these are comfortable for both workouts and running around the town. The color is called “cinnamon heather” and it’s so pretty in person!

Front Twist Muscle Tank
Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size. This has a fitted style, if you prefer a little more room, size up.
Quality: The fabric on this is wonderful. I think the look is cute, but it is cropped to just under my rib cage on one side. If you prefer a more uniform crop or longer length, check out their other tops in this line or pair it with a creamy white top! (Those colors together are dreamy!)

Sizing: Wearing medium. I wear size small when I want a fitted look and size up to medium for a looser fit. In my last pregnancy, I wore these one size up through the last week!
Quality: Out of all the pants I wear the most, it’s these. Hands down. I’m obsessed! They are comfortable, go with your favorite tshirt or athleisure tops and stand the test of time. Maximizing comfort, style and functionality, they include a drawstring waistband and pockets. Because of my love for these, I have accumulated about five pairs in various sizes and colors throughout the years! You will love them!

Hybrid Jacket
Sizing: Wearing size small. Runs slightly on the smaller side.
Quality: The mixed materials on this jacket is hip and sporty! Very comfortable to wear on cooler days and perfect for the gym bag! For comfort and convenience, I love the numerous pocket options, higher collar and optional thumb holes. This also comes available in olive green.

Sizing: Wearing small. Fits true to size; has a fitted style, consider sizing up if you prefer a looser fit.
Quality: This Lulu inspired zip-up has excellent quality fabric that is perfect for layering over sports bras and tanks, or wearing as a top in itself. I am a huge fan of the blackberry color option – it’s vibrant and rich! Pair with other pieces from the blackberry line, or wear with black leggings.

Quality: These are soooo buttery soft, with nice stretch and just the perfect amount of thickness. I love the pocket placement to hold your phone, if needed. So comfortable and luxurious! These are at a great price point for their quality.
