Jumpsuits are back and in full force this season! The love affair with jumpsuits began with this during a girls trip to NYC in 2016. Since then there has been no looking back. Jumpsuits make getting ready easy. No matching needed. No worrying about pulling out different pieces to get ready. Just jump into that jumpsuit, add a few accessories and you are ready to rock and roll.
They are flattering. Whether you are an apple, a pear (that’s me), or somewhere in between, they have the ability to highlight all the right places! Let them cinch at the waist and create those natural hourglass curves you already own. Because it is a one-piece outfit, jumpsuits appear like an unbroken line to the eye – hence a nice slimming effect. Pair them with heels to get an extra long, lean, confident style.
Jumpsuits are versatile with additional layers. During the transition to spring, if you need extra warmth the sleeveless jumpsuits work well with layers. Add a jean jacket for a casual style. Layer a blazer for a work meeting. Pair it with a shawl for a dressy dinner date. Don’t hesitate to add an extra component to the outfit.
They hide the post-queso tummy. I love queso. And enchiladas. What I don’t love is the extra squeeze that occurs after a dinner night out. With the right jumpsuit you can dine comfortably and live life enjoyably without having to worry about that top button on pants. Pass the chips, please.

If you are new to jumpsuits, finding the right fit is important. I love this blue and white striped jumpsuit (also available here) because it has a fit that is attractive on virtually everyone. The waist line is one of my favorite features with its horizontal lines and slimming fit. On the back the closure includes an adorable bow to tie the halter neckline. The jumpsuit is on backorder for some sizes currently but is definitely worth the wait! For sizing purposes I am wearing a size 4 petite. The legs are slightly wide so if you have slimmer legs I recommend sizing down if you prefer a little more fitted style.
