Sometimes our best decisions are spontaneous. I was filling up my shopping cart at Rent the Runway when I came across this bold, floral embroidered dress. The atypical color scheme and pattern caught my eye. In a last minute decision, I ordered it.
When the dress arrived in the mail, I was amazed at the intricacy of the embroidery. It’s stunning! The entire dress is filled with coral pink, tangerine orange and light lime green flowers, intertwined with whimsical greenery. It is a dress from a modern day fairy tale.
I wore this out shopping, during travel and to a networking event. Wear black, heeled sandals for an eye-catching look. It is wonderful for spring, fall and winter when paired with a black cardigan. Because of the extensive embroidery and inner lining, it is less suitable for summer months. I am 5’3″ on a good day and for me this dress fits as a maxi length. However for my taller ladies, it is actually designed to be a midi dress. This bold, floral embroidered dress is currently available for rent or purchase (though sizing is limited). It fits true to size and can be worn with a strapless bra. A friend may be needed to zip the dress in back.
Next time you have a spontaneous decision to make, don’t hold back on going bold. It could turn out to be one of your favorite surprises!
