Hey friends! I hope your weekend was wonderful! We finally had a few days without rain and the weather was could not have been more perfect! I went to Trader Joe’s to stock up on festive fall treats and walked out with a grocery cart full of pumpkin and butternut squash treats. My favorite is the autumnal harvest creamy pasta sauce – it’s a tasty blend of pumpkin, butternut squash and tomato with a little cream. Put it on zoodles or pasta, top with spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, walnuts, and/or tomatoes. It is so delicious! I am also looking forward to trying their new butternut squash pizza crust. Could be a delicious, fall healthy treat!
Speaking of pumpkins and squash, have you visited the pumpkin patch yet this season? When my mom was in town we had fun walking around and enjoying the lively atmosphere at the Dallas Arboretum. They have small buildings, paths and structures lined with all different types of pumpkins and colorful flowers. I wore this rose ruffle top as a casual outfit for the pumpkin patch. It layers well with long sweaters for cooler days. The ruffle detail adds a little extra flair that makes it easy to dress up for dinner or wear as a daytime top. My booties are older, but I linked a similar pair.
I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!
Live your life joyfully so,
Ashley
