As spring draws near, I love incorporating little hints of the new season ahead. Pastel colors, nautical features and fun prints add a little sunshine as the winter months begin to fade away. Trees are beginning to show small leaf buds and blossoms, the daylight hours are growing longer and colors are making a reappearance. Spring invites an opportunity to draw wardrobe inspiration from your lively surroundings.
For that reason, I love this coastal chic blouse featuring a subtle lobster print and playful polka dots. As we are in the transitional time of the season, this pairs nicely with black pants currently but will look clean and crisp with white pants as temperatures warm up. I love accentuating the print colors by playing on the red. A red coat and tote add nice contrast to the soft blue.
The lobsters also remind me of crawfish. Here in Texas, March and April are the peak months for crawfish season! It is a southern tradition to organize crawfish boil events on the weekends, with corn, potatoes and plenty of spice. Whether for crawfish boils, work or play, I love this chic blouse and I hope you do to!
Live your life joyfully so,
Ashley
