With temperatures still on the cooler side, layering is still a major part of my wardrobe. From sweaters to blazers, it is easy to stack different pieces of the wardrobe. Less common, however, is layering tee shirt tops. Layering tees has the advantage that it is not as insulating or thick as temperatures begin to warm up, in comparison to some other forms of layering clothes. To successfully layer tee, it takes the proper fabric and colors to layer tees correctly, to ensure the bottom layer is not transparent through the top layer.

I love this top for its ease of layering or simply wearing it by itself as the temperatures warm up. To dress a simple tee shirt up, consider adding a collared blouse. Since the tee shirt just has graphic text, I opted for a printed collar over a solid color collar. If the tee shirt was a patterned print, I would likely choose a turtleneck top or solid collar.

Step outside of your comfort zone by mixing and matching different layers with your favorite tee. I hope you enjoy having fun and creating your own unique style!
