This is the best time of the year to take advantage of Nordstrom favorites and new items as we transition from summer into fall. 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Dates

If you are a Nordstrom cardholder, or part of the Nordy Club, you get first dibs at the sale! If you aren’t part of the Nordy Club yet, I cannot recommend it enough! It’s free to join and you get early sale access. So many items sell out early in the sale and this is a way to get a head start in shopping! Plus earn points that are converted to “Nordstrom Notes” which are essentially gift cards for you to use at Nordstrom.

When does the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale start? Shopping starts at 2am CST on the first day you are eligible based on your Nordy Club tier as listed below. You can check your status here.

The sale opens up to the general public on July 28, 2021.

2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Returning Favorites

There are some return favorites in the 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I am pumped are back! Popular from last year, they are here to stay!

Elevate Tank
Sizing: Runs a little on the smaller size, I recommend sizing UP one size.
Notes: This workout top was super popular last year and sold out early. It comes available in a really pretty light blue and a shadow gray option this sale. The built-in bra and criss-cross straps in back make it super cute for low to moderate impact workouts!!

Moto Leggings (not on sale)

Faux Leather Leggings
Sizing: Runs true to size. If you are 5’3″ or smaller, consider the petite sizing option. These also come available in plus sizing.
Notes: These are a woman’s best friend! They suck everything in and can be styled into a dressy or casual outfit!

Ab-Solution Skinny Jeans
Sizing: I’m wearing my true size for jeans, 4 petite, but I would recommend sizing down. They do have a little stretch to them.
Notes: I have worn these jeans SO much over the last year and am excited to see them back in the sale! I love the stretch which creates a comfortable fit. These are on my list for a re-purchase!

Open Front Pocket Cardigan
Sizing: Fits true to size. I’m 5’3″ for reference, and wearing small petite.
Notes: These cardigans are PERFECT for layering. They have a longer length, soft fabric and style well with camis/shirts.

Sleeveless Blouse
Sizing: Fits TTS and has a comfortable fit
Notes: I love this top for the transition from summer to winter. It’s cool enough to be worn is, or can be coordinated into a layered outfit. This top also comes available in a long-sleeve option, as well!

Perfect Black Pants
Sizing: Runs TTS or slightly smaller
Notes: Thicker than leggings, these are a great option for meetings at the office. The fabric has a slight stretch – and best of all, they are machine washable!

Live In Leggings
Sizing: Fits TTS. I’m 5’3″ and prefer the standard length, but they are available in petite sizing, as well.
Notes: An annual favorite! Super comfortable, I love the wider waistband to suck in the lower abdominal area. I own about 5 pairs of these and plan on buying more! The Anniversary Sale has the BEST price on these!

Dip Dye Long Sleeve
Sizing: I am wearing my true size, however I personally like these stretchy tops to be a little loose. If you are like me, I’d recommend sizing up one!
Notes: The two-tone white and colored dye on this create a slimming silhouette! Available in four color options.

Oribe Magic Duo
This brings my fine hair to life! The texturizing spray has been one of my top two favorites over the past few years. The formula smells amazing! I use the texturizing spray to boost volume and the dry shampoo to reduce oiliness and create a refreshing style!

St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse
This classic self-tanning favorite helps to tone and tan your skin to create a beautiful glow! The sale price is available for the jumbo tanning bottle, reducing the cost per tan. I highly recommend using it with this mitt!! This will also be on sale in the express formula.

How to Prepare for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Preview the sale to find your favorite items. I like having a plan in advance. Strategy is key!

Shop as early as possible. Items start selling out early. Nordstrom cardholders automatically obtain influencer status (July 16 start date). If you are interested in become a Nordstrom cardholder, they are currently offering a $60 bonus note here.

Download the Nordstrom App. I love their apps for easier and quicker shopping on the go!

Take advantage of double points days. I always use my double points day during the first day I can shop the sale. Maximize earning those Nordstrom Notes!

Stock up on annual favorites. There are so many NSALE items that I use throughout the year (looking at you, Live In Leggings!).

There may be select items further discounted. Last year, both select Adidas sneakers and Spanx faux leather leggings had a flash sale with additional discounts!
