What is the Lilly Sunshine Sale?
The Lilly Sunshine Sale is the BEST sale for Lilly Pulitzer! Items are discounted up to 70% off and usually includes thousands of items from all of their categories. The sale is “final sale” and top items sell out quickly. The Lilly Sunshine Sale was previously known as the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale, however despite the name change, the deals are still incredible! Happening twice per year, it’s always a party!

Such a gorgeous and joyful midi dress, the Lillyanne was a favorite from this capsule! You can’t have a bad day when wearing this dress. The length is midi but may fit closer to maxi length for petite ladies. It’s a stunner!

Fully honest review: I love the look of this Cristiana dress, but the fabric on this specific version is not my favorite. The Cristiana is almost always a top pick of mine and is very flattering, but this specific metallic fabric has viscose material that is scratchy. Gosh, it’s beautiful though! If you want comfort and all the style, consider the highly-rated Cristiana Stretch versions of this dress!

When is the 2023 Lilly Pulitzer Sunshine Sale?
“When is the Lilly Sunshine Sale?” That’s the big surprise! Lilly Pulitzer keeps the dates a secret, however the past few years the Summer Lilly Sunshine Sale has taken place in early September. The online portion of the sale lasts 2-3 days, and occasionally there is an in-store preview prior to the online sale.
When won’t the Lilly Sunshine Sale be? Usually not before August – in the past several years the sale has taken place towards the end of August through mid-September, with most recent years being in September. Traditionally, the Lilly Sunshine Sale has not been on Labor Day Weekend.

What will be in the Lilly Sunshine Sale?
Lilly keeps sale inventory a secret until the sale begins, with an occasional sneak peek in the days leading up to the sale. In the past, I have been able to release sale predictions a few days prior to the sale – subscribe for updates. Generally over 1,000 items are included in the sale – it’s the best time to stock up on your fashion favorites, gifts and accessories! Most items in the sale are releases from a few months prior. Lilly also usually drops additional inventory on the second day of the Lilly Sunshine Sale, as well.
A few prints likely in the Summer 2023 Lilly Sale: Catty Purrsonality, Wild Times, Festive Fantasy, Flocking to Paradise, Holiday in the Sun, Absolute Purrfection. These are just a few worth mentioning – there will be more!
