This time of year I cannot get enough of fair isle sweaters! When I put them on in the morning they start off my day in the best mood. I think since fair isle prints are styles that I only wear for a few months out of the year, I really embrace and appreciate the days I wear fair isle cozy winter knits! Since they have been winter trending over multiple decades, I love the classic style mixed with a little prep and a hint of French après ski flair. But more that anything, I am a big supporter of investing in pieces that bring you joy – and these do just that! Here are two of my current fair isle sweaters that I am wearing on repeat, and a few other popular fair isle finds.
Fair Isle Sweaters
Neutral Colors
Mixed with black, gold and various shades of brown, this is an easy sweater to style in many ways. The gold accents are perfect for the holidays, while the neutral colors make an effortless top to be dressed up or down.
Festive Fair Isle
Gosh, I love this sweater! Also with a neutral background, however with an added pop of red, this fair isle sweater is so fun for the holidays! I like to pull in the red throughout other elements of my outfit, from accessories to my winter coat.
Sizing note: Size up on this as it does run small. I am 5’3″ and went with XS, non-petite option.
Holiday boot hack: Incorporate more red and holiday details to your outfit by changing out your usual shoe laces with red satin laces. Rather than buying boots solely for their red laces, save money and with a fun switch that makes your shoes pop! Red gingham laces are another seasonal option! Lots of compliments on this simple switch!
Fair Isle Warm and Cozy Winter Knits
And because there are so many ways to wear fair isle prints, here are a few additional fair isle warm and cozy winter knits! Many of the items are on additional sale currently for the holidays!
Live your life joyfully so,
