I always look forward to transitioning the dining table between seasons! It has become one of the focal points of our house and makes meals more special and momentous! I love this fall dining table setting, it combines rustic and moody elements that can transition between the Halloween and Christmas seasons.

Walmart has a holiday home lookbook filled with many ideas to add festive details throughout your house! I used this pine garland to run down the center of the table and incorporated pillar candles on black candle holders throughout the table. The matte stoneware is dishwasher and microwave safe and a fun change in our usual table setting.

To style this look for Halloween, place white mini pumpkins throughout the garland and on each plate. To make things spooky, drape fabric decor to the table and black candelabras.

While this dining table setting works for Thanksgiving, you can easily substitute the pumpkin on the plates for this “Gather” ceramic coaster. Bonus that it doubles as a coaster for drinks!

With Christmas, I love embracing the season with more lights! Tis the season for light, and adding fairy lights throughout the garland is an easy way to brighten the table. Dress up each plate with a mini ornament, such as these reindeer. Walmart has several ideas to get you and your loved ones ready for the best seasons of the year!
