About the outfit:
I have been looking for a new romper and I love the look of the Jarrett Romper! As far as fit, it is true to size. Two features I really like about this romper are the fitted waist and built-in lingerie snaps. (Because no one likes bra straps that run down the shoulder!) The tassels make it perfect for several warm weather occasions. I have worn this to dinner, to the grocery store and think it would also work well as a cover up outfit. The romper was restocked, however now it is going really quickly again! (It’s also available here.)
Fortunately, the Jarrett romper is now available in a second print which I love! It is online here.
What is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale (APS) is a semi-annual event where Lilly Pulitzer places items on major discount, usually over 60% off their original price tags! Thousands of items are included in the sale but inventory still sells out very quickly. Whether you are looking for dresses, cardigans, workout apparel or accessories, the After Party Sale is the best time to get anything and everything Lilly Pulitzer!
Will there be a Summer 2020 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
It hasn’t 100% been confirmed that there will be an After Party Sale. (Keep an eye on this After Party Sale page.) Do I think that they will have a sale? Yes! My guess is that they will have a sale, whether they call it After Party Sale or a different name. The wonderful Lilly Pulitzer community rallies behind this semi-annual event. Further, the APS truly unites and ignites the Lilly Pulitzer family! Breaking this beloved tradition does not seem like Lilly Pulitzer’s style. However, this is all just a guess. Will they offer the sale in store? In order to limit crowds, probably not. The sale will likely be online only.

What are your sale favorites for the fall months?
With summer coming to a close soon, these sale picks are great for fall! I have the Quinney Pom Pom Wrap (in the style pictured below) for my upcoming honeymoon and love it! It layers well over dresses, blouses and sweaters. The Bartlett Dress is an autumn favorite, and will likely be available in prints too! I think these wraps will be a repeat (estimated $44) and are great for gifts and travel!
When is the Summer 2020 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
The date for the Summer 2020 Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale is a hot topic. Lilly Pulitzer likes to keep us on our toes and the APS date is a mystery until a few days prior to the sale. The local stores usually find out a few days in advance.
Previous Lilly Pulitzer Summer After Party Sale Dates:
2019: September 9-11
2018: September 10-12
2017: August 28-30
2016: August 22-23
2015: August 17-18
So when will the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale be? If Lilly Pulitzer is able to follow their traditional dates, the Summer APS will begin online on a Monday in mid-September. However, given the pandemic and since they had a sale in June, this sale may not follow the dates listed above. Both the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Day have had to change their annual sale dates due to COVID-19. Because of this, Lilly Pulitzer may change up their plans altogether this year.

There are so many cute dresses and tops currently available at Lilly Pulitzer. Not pictured below is this dress (tried on in Part Two blog post) which is a stunner!
A few of my favorite current Lilly Pulitzer styles:
Maxine Midi Dress
LOVE this dress! Besides the fact this is STUNNING in person, one of the reasons I like it is because the length works for mostly everyone. It is labeled as a “midi” dress, but being 5’3″ it functions as a maxi dress for me! And I can’t stop smiling about that! There are cute ties on the shoulders for an added touch! So beautiful!
Jazzy Dress
This is not my normal Lilly Pulitzer style dress, however that’s what makes it unique. The dress is fun and flowy. This color is a brighter orange and Lilly has created an entire line around this happy shade, called Tangelo! For some the orange may be a little too bold. I would recommend dialing it back with a denim jacket. My go to pick in this Tangelo line is this sweater tank!
Samia Off-the-Shoulder Romper
I did not think I needed this romper until I tried it on. The truth is, I am not normally a fan of off-the-shoulder styles. However, this romper won me over! The design is so flattering. If you look closely in the picture, the sleeves have a subtle balloon flare which is adorable in person! The saltwater blue tones can easily be paired with other pops of color or gold accessories. Priced reasonably for Lilly, this was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend! (Update: I just bought this. Full blog here!)
By the way, I have to say I adore this Lilly Pulitzer community. From each of YOU spreading positivity, to the friendly waves when you see another lady wearing Lilly, to the smiling staff in the local stores, this truly is an incredible community.
