Lilly Spring Sale

Surprise! Lilly Pulitzer is doing a spring sale on starting TONIGHT at 12am EST, Friday, April 14th through Sunday, April 16th. The sale will be 30% off and available in stores and online. Stock up on Lilly Pulitzer new arrivals and favorites! I am spilling all the sale details I know and recent Lilly favorites!

What I know:
I have not seen Lilly publish anything about the sale in writing, outside of a brief Instagram promo, so this is what I have unofficially found out.
– What’s included: The 30% off sale will include almost ALL items!! There are a few exclusions, like the Pottery Barn collaboration, for example.
– Return policy: Per a Lilly sales associate, the return policy will be Lilly’s normal return policy! In other words, this is not final sale. See here for details.
– There will no additional merchandise added on later in the sale- stock up early!

What is worth buying in this spring sale?
Outside of any personal favorites, these are my recommendations:
1. Styles that you will wear or gift in the next 5 months. Think: weddings, special occasions, favorite warm weather styles, girls dresses, Mother’s Day gifts, etc… This will likely be Lilly’s only sale with markdowns for awhile. I anticipate they will have promotional weekends, like Gifts with Purchase and Club Lilly Promo Days (click for a $10 referral coupon), but this is likely the only true sale until their semi-annual sale that usually takes place in September. Stock up now!
2. Items that don’t go on sale traditionally. These are items like the white polo, Tennison (one of my favorites), Skipper dress, linen finds, etc… Get them at a discount because, historically speaking, they aren’t often included in the semi-annual sale.
3. Elsa tops. There are always a handful that are included in the semi-annual sale but if you want them now, while at a 30% discount, this is your opportunity! From an analytical perspective, they are usually your most popular item purchased and sell out quickly! Take advantage tonight! (I’m swooning over the Aura Pink!)
4. Accessories. They go quickly in the sale (aka they are nearly impossible to buy unless you are super early to the sale) and they are worth the investment! My current favorite: these earrings! I wear them with almost everything!

Lilly Pulitzer Styles

Lillyanne: Gosh, this is a showstopper! When I walked into the Lilly store this was one of the first dresses that stood out to me. The color is vibrant and radiates sunshine. I love this for special occasions, Mother’s Day or a Sunday church service. Spread the joy! Wearing 0. Styled with these earrings.

Aldena: I adore this dress and especially love this as a Mother-Daughter matching option. It’s comfortable and cute! The style is swingy and a little oversized, in my opinion. My true Lilly size is usually an XS and I’m wearing XXS with a 34C bust. (I have a small video clip here.)

Suzie– She’s beautiful – I’m loving the blue and pink print for a vibrant night on the town. The full skirt and puff sleeves are feminine, romantic and chic. The waist is fitted and creates an hourglass figure. I can’t recall seeing this dress previously (correct me if I’m wrong) and would love to see it in more prints and styles! I would pair this with my orchid accessories to tie in with the florals. Wearing 0.

Parigi– If you want a figure-flattering outfit, this is your style! Hugs and flaunts in all the right places and has earned a spectacular 4.9 star rating for good reason! It’s a gem!! This romper does run a little shorter than your average Lilly dress and rests comfortably at mid-thigh for most. It’s available in a few print options and will likely be a hot item! Wearing XS.

Tisbury– Preaching on this dress again because it truly is a dress that I pull out time and time again! It’s versatile for a variety of occasions and photographs beautifully. This light blue color is from a couple years ago and it is currently available in white, navy and black options. It’s timeless! Wearing XS in light blue; small in white (below). Emilia’s blue dress pictured above was gifted from a family friend; there are several similar styles here!
