I’m going to preface today’s post by asking for a little forgiveness. This is not my best because it was freezing cold! Even being from St. Louis, I have never been able to handle cold well. I’m a wimp! This was shot on a day in Dallas with windchill in the teens. Because of busy schedules and limited hours of sunlight, we usually only have one day per week to photograph, and this was my last outfit. All credit goes to Tyler, as he photographed quickly. We later had a laugh at how very few pictures turned out because I’m shriveled up and shivering. So thank you in advance for a little grace. 🙂

I love this dress as we swing into the New Years Eve preparations! The navy color of the dress is accented with a metallic gold for the perfect shimmer. The fabric is a wool blend with a little bit of stretch. Pair it with a gold or nude heel and gold accessories. If you prefer to stay warmer, it does come in floor length, as well.

What are your plans for NYE? We are heading south for a wedding in the Texas Hill Country! I have been down to the Hill Country a few times before, but not to this specific area outside of San Antonio. I am looking forward to some BBQ, wine and dancing – in true Texas fashion!
