Jumpsuits are back and in full force this season! The love affair with jumpsuits began with this during a girls trip to NYC in 2016. Since then there has been no looking back. Happy Spring! Lately in Dallas we have had hints of spring with sunny skies and temperatures hovering around the 60’s and 70’s, but it is so exciting to officially celebrate spring!
Girls just want to have sun, right?! Woohoo! I know I am ready for more sunshine, sandals and colorful dresses. These days are quickly approaching. With the spring months ahead I get so excited for fresh produce and healthier snacks! It’s the time of year where farmers markets abound with seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs. One of my goals this season is to focus on eating healthier foods – decrease the processed foods and increase natural foods. Working as a Physician Assistant, I love advocating for a healthy lifestyle, preventing chronic diseases, encouraging healthy exercise and eating habits. Let’s spark up some ideas together, mix up the usual snack routine, and talk about 10 snacks that are Physician Assistant approved!
While I did not realize it at the time, I was not very confident in high school and college. Thoughts of self doubt often plagued my thoughts and even some of my actions. Words would affect me even if people’s intentions were genuine. It wasn’t until after college, when I began working in medicine that my self-esteem and self-worth both increased. These were two factors that ultimately decreased my anxiety and stress, and boosted my confidence. Whether you can relate or just need a little extra self-love (we all do, after all!), today I am sharing seven ways to become more confident in yourself that work for me.
