My favorite snack lately has been snow cones. They are light, fruity and the perfect temperature for hot summer days. But what I have found is even better than snow cones are granitas. True granitas are frozen desserts from Sicily, similar to an Italian ice but prepared differently by scraping the ice during the freezing process. The flavor possibilities are whatever your heart desires!
DIY Pallet Herb Garden
One of my neighbors had a pallet laying around she wasn’t using and offered it to me. Recycling the pallet by making an herb garden was the first thing that popped in my head. Each division of the pallet serves as a separate “pot” and it’s easy to move around while I update my backyard landscape.
