Who doesn’t love fun floaties? Floatapalooza is officially here! I am currently visiting my family in St. Louis and we spent a good portion of yesterday at my brother and sister-in-law’s house hanging out by the pool. Their pool offers a variety of floats that are perfect for all ages and occasions.

House Update #2 | Removing Texture On Walls
While I was waiting to close on the house, I was busy picking out paint colors. I found a beautiful color by Chip and Joanna Gaines. The day I closed on the house, I eagerly began painting only to realize I had a horrible, bumpy texture on my bedroom walls. The entire house has this texture, but the master bedroom was most apparent. Since it is the master bedroom, my home sweet home and cozy sanctuary, I wanted to create a room that had a calming, peaceful ambiance. I made it a goal to create smooth walls.

I hope you all have enjoyed your Memorial Day. Memorial weekend harbors a lot of different emotions and feelings. Sadness for those we grieve, eagerness for kids to start summer and joy to spend time with friends and family. My parents instilled very patriotic values into our family, so for us Memorial Day weekend means paying respect to those who lost their lives fighting for our country and seeing those who matter most to us.
