Hey friends! We have all seen the ads pop up for SheIn on our computers. SheIn offers trendy clothing at affordable prices. Is it all what it’s cracked up to be? I decided to find out with a SheIn haul. Here to give an honest review of the items I bought as well as the entire process. Let’s get started!

Bell Sleeve Flowers Print Dress

I loved this dress in the pictures because of the color, bell sleeves and fitted waist. In person the color washed out my skin tone so I probably won’t wear it often. For someone with darker skin tone, it’d be a great dress for a casual event or running errands.

Would I Recommend:  Yes, to those with darker skin tones

Striped Embroidered Rose Patch Ruffle Trim Surplice Belted Dress (update: sold out)

I did a post on this dress recently. This dress is so flirty and feminine, and I can’t wear it enough. There is a lot going on:  ruffles, stripes, roses, belt, which makes it a little busy, but it’s also a favorite for that reason. At only $15 now, it’s a steal!! The only downsides are the dress is not lined and it can be a little on the shorter side. Otherwise, it’s fabulous. Get ready to receive several compliments!

Would I Recommend:  Yes

Boat Neckline Flower Embroidery Top (update: sold out)

The pictures and embroidery on this top are both beautiful. The size, however, is huge!! I ordered the smallest size available and it was too wide for my shoulders. Reading the reviews, others are having similar problems. The fabric is thin, leaving too much visible skin. I was so excited about this top, but decided to return it.

Would I Recommend:  No

Stand Collar Dip Hem Check Blouse

I am so obsessed with this shirt that my boyfriend is probably tired of seeing me wear it. It’s my laid-back, summer shirt that I pair with white shorts way too frequently. The fabric is a light weight blend of polyester and cotton. This is another steal for only $8!

Would I Recommend:  Yes!

Band Waist Button Front Striped Skirt

This skirt is another recent post. It is lined with buttons (I chose to wear the buttons in back) and has an elastic waist band – hello comfort! The chambray-colored blue and white make this similar to a neutral in my opinion, like jeans. I love the versatility to pair it with a number of tops.

Would I Recommend:  Yes

Batwing Cardigan

This piece is so perfect for days you want to wear a sweater but the weather is too a little warmer. Wear a cami under on warmer days or a long sleeve shirt on cooler days. It comes as “one size” and runs large so I paired it with a leopard print. The pockets in front are an added perk.

Would I Recommend? Yes

Criss Cross Back Chunky Knit

Currently at $17 at the time I am writing this, this sweater is so wonderful for those who love sweater weather and want lots of sweaters. It comes in 13 colors! The cons to this are the sizing. It is only available in one size unfortunately and tends to run on the shorter size for length. I am 5’2″ and XS normally, and this fit me in the torso and sleeves. Anyone taller would likely find it too boxy and cropped.

Would I Recommend? Yes, if you are petite. No if you are average or above average in height.

Drop Shoulder Solid Jumper

This was a favorite sweater. The sizing runs a little large but it fits with the style. Wear it regularly, or pull one shoulder down a little ways for an edgier style. Their sweaters don’t all have the softest fit, but at its price it is still a steal.

Would I recommend?  Yes

SheIn Overall

Overall my SheIn experience was good. Outside of the flower blouse and the unflattering color of the bell sleeve dress, I liked the clothes and will wear them again. Some of the pieces I wear weekly!

On their website it talks about “easy returns” and when I went to return the blouse, the provided instructions on returns would not work. There is no contact information on their website other than through “opening a ticket”, so I waited a few days to complete this process. It took a couple days for a complete response and to electronically receive the shipping label.

The shipping time is slow as well. Expect about three weeks of eagerly waiting.

Despite these drawbacks, they have a big selection of “trendy” items at a great price. I am a big fan of not spending large sums of money on things that may be out of style next season. Splurge on the essentials and things that will last. Save on the trends. If you have the same ideals, SheIn is a good solution.

My suggestion is to read the reviews as they are pretty spot on. Keep an eye out for sales in addition to their already affordable prices.

SheIn was something I was always curious about so I hope this helps others who are considering buying from them!
