Stars & Stripes | Decor Pillows

Happy Flag Day! Red, white and blue is one of my favorite classic summer color palettes. It represents strength, unity and USA!

As I pull together my new house one of my approaches is to buy the expensive pieces in neutral colors but add pops of colors, depending on the season. The easiest way to do this is by changing up the pillows. I gravitate towards decorative pillows that have removable pillow cases that can be washed, folded and stored when not being used. Save space and improve cleanliness!

As I wait for curtains and the remainder of furniture, the pillows make the living space more inviting. We spent many weekends on the lake as children, so summer feels more complete with a touch of nautical as well. I love this beautiful anchor pillow (and will probably be buying a couple more soon) to tie in the nostalgic memories of being on the water.
