When I was home last weekend, my mom and I had fun driving through a small town that’s a few miles away from their house. Saint Albans lies in the rolling hills of Missouri and features two prestigious golf courses, extravagant homes, scenic roads lined with flowers and white picket fences, and bluffs that overlook the Missouri River.

Y’all there was the cutest two year old lab training with his owner. They train together three nights a week, practicing different duck hunting drills. With lots of trial and error, the dog can now find a hidden toy in a large area based on the sounds of a whistle and scent. It was so amazing to watch.

Saint Albans features a couple historic structures, including the general store built in 1892. It’s beautifully decorated with flower baskets and rocking chairs on its wrap-around porch. Step inside the general store for ice cream or a fresh deli sandwich, sit outside and enjoy the view overlooking the lake.

This midi skirt was perfect for strolling around the town and lake. The skirt was found on Shein and also comes in knee length. Its waist is partially elastic and fastens with a vertical row of buttons. Pictures show the buttons being worn on the front, but I preferred them in back. Pair this with a white t-shirt or cami for a relaxing, casual day.

We will be back to St. Alban’s in August for my younger brother’s wedding! Hope y’all have a wonderful day!
