When it comes to which colors to wear during which season, I like to stretch the traditional guidelines. Rules, such as don’t wear white after Labor Day…avoid bright pastels in the winter…, are meant to be broken. After all, fashion is an expression of the soul. I love positive, happy colors to lift the spirits. For those who do follow the rules I applaud your efforts.
But whether you are a rule maker or a rule breaker, this top is perfect for Valentine’s Day and the spring season. I like to think pink is a dynamic color throughout the year.
Think pink for Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) Day. The romantic silky fabric is simply elegant as metallic gold is woven in throughout the fabric to create a subtle shimmer. Style it with a nude pumps and dangling earrings for a special date.
Think pink for spring. This vibrant shade of pink brings warm spring vibes and sunshine. Pair it with a nude or white camisole underneath, colorful tote, wedges and your favorite sunglasses for a casual spring outfit.
I love this style of top so much, that I have a similar top (seen here) and dress made out of the same soft, silky fabric. It’s also available in a print that is perfect for beach vacations and spring break.
Thanks for joining today. Have a wonderful weekend!
Live your life joyfully so,
Ashley
